Maria Garciais a junior in advanced ceramics who was able to skip beginning ceramics because of her regular attendance at open studio on Tuesdays last year. Through her dedicated practice, she has developed skills that are exemplary and her creative ideas stand out amongst her peers. I'm advocating for her to join a second year of advanced ceramics to continue her amazing journey. Look for her work at the upcoming "Build a Better Birdhouse Battle" in January.
