On Thursday, April 20, the 45th Annual Volunteer Recognition and Awards Event was held at City Hall to celebrate the dedication of Hayward volunteers. This event is sponsored by the County of Alameda and the City of Hayward.

Representing Hayward Arts Council was Board Member and Library Galleries Curator, Karla Lopez. Karla has been on the board for several years and has done an outstanding job setting up HAC shows in the library. Thank you Karla Lopez, HAC Volunteer of the Year. 

Two other HAC members were also honored.
