Glen is a 3rd generation East Bay native and spent many days of his youth hiking the trails and paddling Lake Chabot. After college, he pursued woodworking, antique restoration, and early American crafts while working in shops on the west and east coasts.

Following his artistic muse, he then studied Fine Art at the Acedemy of Art, San Francisco, and San Jose State University. Always fascinated by museum exhibits, he earned his MA in Museum Studies at JFK University. His museum career culminated as Curator at the Wells Fargo History Museum in the bank’s San Francisco headquarters.

Glen has stayed connected to East Bay Regional Parks as a volunteer and as Tour Boat Guide at Lake Chabot sharing nature and history with visitors. At HAC he helped install exhibits, and joined the HAC Board in 2023.

Returning to his artistic roots, he is now creatively exploring the beauty and mystery of nature, the LGBTQ experience, and supporting art opportunities for young people.
