Since she was a child, the perfection of the natural world has filled Terry with wonder and peace.  Nature has always been a central focus in her life. 

Each time she sits, she is presented with an opportunity to connect with the wonders of this planet.  In her art she attempts to portray a subject as it truly appears to her.  Drawing with detail allows her to feel close to her subject as if she were in the forest or the African savannah standing next to her subject.

Her hope is that her art will encourage viewers to travel outside, whether to Africa, to a montane forest or even to a local park to seek out and connect with the incredible wild creatures with whom we share this planet. 

She uses a range of media including oil, acrylic, graphite, colored pencil and watercolor.   All of Terry’s drawings and paintings are available as unframed Giclee prints.  Sizes are approximate.  Giclee prints are very high-quality reproductions of art which are longer lasting and provide sharper images and more intense color than other printing methods.
