Patra joined HAC in 2007 and joined the Board in 2011. A retired teacher, she now pursues art photography, and she has been active in A.R.T. Inc., Sun Gallery, and PhotoCentral. An enthusiastic volunteer, she distributes promotional materials for various groups and maintains our rack of postcards and flyers for other groups. She has taken the lead in planning and carrying out successful fundraisers for HAC, engaging dancers and musicians, hiring a caterer, obtaining many donations of goods and services from local merchants, and handling many details.
