Tia Farrell was born in Flint, Michigan and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 2016, she has worked as a teacher in Hayward in the areas of Special Education, ELD, English, and GED instruction. She is also an artist who enjoys working in many different forms of art, with murals being her favorite. Tia has experience leading after-school art clubs and creating art with children who have autism. In 2025, she completed a mural at Winton Middle School. She is passionate about providing a safe and welcoming space for underprivileged students to create art and have access to art supplies and creative opportunities.
