Long-time Hayward resident, City of Hayward employee, HAC member, and lover of all forms of artistic expression, Suzanne Philis is our latest Board Member, approved on Monday, March 18, 2019. Suzanne brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board including an understanding of local government, event coordination, and the value of community partnerships. A Bay Area native, Suzanne has participated in HAC Member Exhibits, City of Hayward Employee Art Shows, and San Jose Works art exhibits. Her work includes paintings, stained glass, illustration, and jewelry design. Suzanne commented, “I’m thrilled to have been selected to serve on the Board, and I look forward to working with all the talented artists who make Hayward a thriving environment for the arts.”
