VAL'S BURGERS

The founder of Val’s Burgers opened his little 6-stool coffee shop back in the early 1950s, not knowing that it would become so popular that it would outgrow its little space soon after opening.  In 1958, a new dining room was built to accommodate 60 burger munching customers at the counter and at tables.

Since then, the original commitment to quality has remained constant. Today’s Val’s retains its original, charming 50s flavor and is still famous for burgers, steaks, and shakes.  From the bright vinyl to the knotty pine, to the Formica, the design takes patrons back to a simpler time.

Families have been going to Val's for generations, and everyone has his or her favorite.  Some go for the steak, others for the burgers, and still others for the shakes served with a tall glass, along with seconds still in the stainless tin.

Val's is still open, but during very limited hours. Check their website before your visit.
